Gregson & Associates now offers select facial esthetic treatments with the Fotona LightWalker® MAX. This laser gives Dr. Gregson another way to treat concerns such as fine lines, uneven texture, loss of firmness, and changes around the eyes and lips.
Fotona laser treatments use gentle heat to reach below the surface of the skin and stimulate collagen. Over time, this can help improve the look and feel of the skin, including texture, firmness, and some of the changes that come with age.
There are no needles or surgery involved. Depending on the treatment, you may also be able to return to your normal routine with little or no downtime.

Gregson & Associates has added the Fotona LightWalker® MAX to our office, giving Dr. Gregson another way to treat a wide range of skincare, beauty, dental concerns with greater precision and, in many cases, a more comfortable experience for the patient.
Unlike a dental laser designed for one specific purpose, the LightWalker MAX combines two laser wavelengths that can be used on both hard and soft tissue. That makes it useful for many applications including skincare, such as scar and hair removal, restorative dentistry, gum treatment, root canal therapy, oral surgery, and implant dentistry.
For certain dental and restorative procedures, the laser can precisely remove decay while preserving as much healthy tooth structure as possible. Because treatment can be performed without the noise and vibration of a traditional dental drill, many patients find the experience much more comfortable. In some cases, laser treatment can also reduce or eliminate the need for local anesthesia.
The LightWalker MAX also gives us another option for endodontic care. Fotona's laser technology can help clean and disinfect the complex spaces within a root canal system, reaching areas that conventional instruments may have difficulty accessing.
The laser can also be used for periodontal and soft-tissue procedures. Its two wavelengths allow Dr. Gregson to precisely target the treatment area while limiting unnecessary trauma to surrounding tissue, which can mean less bleeding, swelling, and discomfort.
Its capabilities extend into implant dentistry and oral surgery as well, giving us one system that can assist with many different types of care.
Adding the LightWalker MAX is another way we can tailor treatment to the person sitting in our chair. Depending on your needs, laser dentistry may offer a gentler, more precise alternative to traditional techniques.
